Introducing Vol 1 issue 3 of Creative IMAGE Magazine, which is based on the theme of Landscapes! The cover photograph is an image of the Namib Desert by the European Space Agency, and is also a part of a special feature on landscapes as seen by satellite and radar imagery. Besides reacquainting our readers with the marvelous life, work and contributions of Ansel Adams, we have a variety of interpretations of the theme. These include Edward Burtynsky's awe-inspiring aerial views of how humanity has affected the Earth, serene, unusual cellphone landscapes from Japan, Susan Burnstine's extremely personal exploration of the landscape of the mind, and Mitch Dobrowner's breathtaking storm imagery. We also take a look at Shahidul Alam's tribute to Kalpana Chakma, besides revisiting the history of landscape photography in India, among a host of other articles.
